Urine Testing System™ wins gold at iF Design Award 2020 to secure place in Top 25 of all winners in Health/Medical (2016-2020)

Urine Testing System™ has won the top distinction in this year’s iF Design Award, the iF gold award. From 7,298 submissions, only 75 were awarded the gold by the independent expert iF jury.

Urine Testing System™ is a multi-award winning system for digital point-of-care urine testing for all healthcare providers. Standardised results can be read on the UTS Digital Analyser™ – or on a desktop computer and saved to a patient’s electronic health record.

Urine Testing System™ has secured its place in Top 10 of all UK winners (2016-2020) – and in the Top 25 of all winners in the Health/Medical category (2016-2020).

Expert jurors called Urine Testing System™ a “well thought-out solution” – picking up on its ease of use highlighting that, “The user interface is ingeniously simple and efficient.”

The iF Design Award is one of the most important design prizes in the world – run by the world’s oldest design organisation, iF International Forum, based in Hannover, Germany.

Urine Testing System™ has been tested and verified at the Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust Pathology Laboratory and is currently undergoing User Trials with GPs in the UK before its full market launch later this year.

In 2019, Urine Testing System also won the prestigious Red Dot Design award.
